Regional Lean Specialist

Schneider Electric USA, Inc. is seeking a Regional Lean Specialist.
Role Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the implementation of the Schneider Production System (SPS) at the entity level.
- Develop, refine, and manage standards, methodologies, and tools, utilizing best practices through collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Conduct comprehensive Lean assessments from an End-to-End perspective.
- Lead transformation initiatives at the regional scale.
- Establish and manage governance mechanisms for project reviews with entities and management to meet productivity objectives.
- Collaborate with cluster leaders and plants to formulate a unified improvement roadmap with Plants and Distribution Centers (DCs) to achieve set targets and consolidate them at the regional level.
- Aggregate Supply Chain Performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the region and provide reporting.
- Create a competency framework for Operations Management, Methods & Maintenance, and Supply Chain Performance functions.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies in Lean Manufacturing methodologies and their associated skill requirements.
- This role requires 50% travel (10% international, 40% domestic) to company facilities for project execution and training.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in continuous improvement, manufacturing engineering, or a related field is essential, including:
1. Leading manufacturing engineering and maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment.
2. Conducting plant capacity analyses.
3. Driving automation initiatives.
4. Leading Schneider Electric production systems within manufacturing settings.
5. Deploying Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
6. Implementing digitization strategies in manufacturing environments.
