As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check guests in and out of the hotel according to company standards and policies.
  • Inform guests about the hotel's facilities, policies, and procedures, and provide tourist information as needed.
  • Handle hotel phone system, transfer calls to appropriate departments or guests, and accurately take messages for guests.
  • Take, modify, and cancel guestroom reservations.
  • Deal with inquiries, requests, and complaints from guests, and coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requests.
  • Perform cashier duties, cash travelers checks, post phone charges, and other miscellaneous charges to guest accounts.
  • Notify housekeeping and maintenance of any reported problems with guestrooms or grounds.
  • Follow in-house procedures to ensure the security of guests and employees, and know hotel emergency procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Front Office area.

Additional Responsibilities:

The hotel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands. Employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work. Employees are required to adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company, including those contained in the employee handbook.

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain control and composure in difficult situations and exhibit good judgment.
