Our team members are the heart of our success, and we're seeking a talented Pastry Cook II to join our culinary team at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Pastry Cook II to run the day-to-day operation of our pastry station, assist in creating and preparing menu items and specials, and maintain the highest standards of quality in production and presentation of all desserts and pastries. As a key member of our culinary team, you'll work closely with our Pastry Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef to ensure seamless execution of our culinary vision.

Responsibilities
  • Run the day-to-day operation of assigned station in the kitchen
  • Assist in creating and preparing menu items and specials for pastry department
  • Check and complete all daily dessert recipes and production
  • Communicate with the Pastry Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and the Executive Chef regarding menu items, problem situations or shortages
  • Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation of all desserts and pastries
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other employees
  • Store items properly at the end of the shift
  • Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
  • Follow all guidelines for timely food service to guests
