Job Summary

The Medical Professional II - Endo-Rheumatology Specialist will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinic setting. This position requires a skilled healthcare professional who can coordinate patient wellness and chronic illness activities, while maintaining high standards of care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care activities to ensure a seamless healthcare continuum
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement educational materials for patients and their support systems
  • Supervise daily activities of medical assistants and ensure timely orientation and competencies completion
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing (RN)
  • Licensed by the State of New Mexico as a Registered Nurse
  • BLS Certification issued through the American Heart Association
  • One year of experience working as a nurse in a clinical setting
Skills
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills
  • Ability to coordinate and implement educational materials
  • Knowledge of good business English, spelling, and arithmetic practices
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced clinic environment with frequent exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, and other conditions common to a clinic setting.

Physical Requirements

This role requires a full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds may be required.
