Position Overview

Sentry offers a comprehensive array of tools designed to identify and resolve issues within customer applications. These essential services are crucial for organizations aiming to adapt swiftly in dynamic markets.

As a vital member of the Crons & Uptime division, you will engage with Sentry's cutting-edge innovations, contributing to recently launched products. This role provides a unique chance to shape the trajectory of these offerings, influencing both user experience and the foundational technology.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive significant projects, crafting both front-end and back-end functionalities that elevate our products to new heights.
  2. Design scalable and maintainable architectures that seamlessly integrate across the entire technology stack, from user interfaces to backend systems.
  3. Create comprehensive and thoughtful user experiences for our offerings, with meticulous attention to detail. Your creativity and skills will play a pivotal role in the evolution of our new products.
  4. Collaborate closely with product management and the wider engineering team to define, develop, and deliver innovative features.

  1. Possess a sharp eye for detail and a passion for crafting polished, user-friendly experiences that adhere to robust design principles.
  2. Exhibit a willingness to explore unconventional solutions and experiment with novel approaches to tackle complex challenges.
  3. Demonstrate enthusiasm for building scalable and maintainable solutions that not only function effectively but also provide an exceptional user experience.
Required Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing full-stack applications and engaging with large-scale distributed systems.
  2. Proficient in our technology stack, including TypeScript, React, Python, Django, and Postgres.
  3. Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and implement features from inception to completion, with a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development.
  4. Strong communication skills and the capability to excel in a distributed team environment.
  5. Experience in rapidly iterating on proof-of-concept implementations to bring innovative product ideas to fruition.
  6. Familiarity with Rust is advantageous.

The anticipated salary range for this position at Sentry is between $175,000 and $200,000. The actual salary offered will be influenced by various relevant factors, including the candidate's location, education, experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. Eligible candidates will have access to Sentry's employee benefit programs, which may include incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and health insurance coverage.
