About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HIPP Enrollment Coordinator to join our team at a local Upper Manhattan Hospital. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for enrolling eligible hospital patients into the Third Party Health Insurance Premium Payment Program (HIPP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, hospital personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Create a positive patient experience by clearly presenting program requirements and serving as a patient advocate.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure seamless enrollment process and address any challenges that may arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Education, or Psychology preferred, with a Master's degree being a plus.
  • At least five years of experience in patient-related, hospital settings, with a proven track record of success in sales and healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a strong asset, with the ability to speak English as a minimum requirement.
  • Ability to work on-site most days and adapt to a flexible schedule to accommodate patients.
  • Must pass hospital credentialing, including all vaccines and drug & alcohol testing.
