As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Compensation and Benefits Coordinator. This role will involve meticulous work in verifying, classifying, posting, and recording payroll transactions, ensuring that employees receive their paychecks accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Process bi-weekly payroll for a workforce of 1,500 employees.

2. Maintain a thorough understanding of federal and state tax calculations.

3. Prepare and issue manual payroll checks and direct deposits.

4. Manage voiding and reversing of issued checks.

5. Collect and maintain banking information for direct deposit setups.

6. Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of all payroll records.

7. Process withholding orders, garnishments, and tax levies in compliance with applicable laws.

8. Address employee inquiries related to payroll deductions and concerns.

Required Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll processing.

2. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

3. Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.

4. Capable of exercising discretion and confidentiality.

5. Familiarity with payroll laws and regulations is advantageous.

6. Ability to meet deadlines and manage schedules effectively.

7. Detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach.

8. Strong decision-making abilities and interpersonal skills, with effective verbal and written communication.

9. Organized, goal-oriented, and possesses a strong work ethic.
