Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Crew Activities: Oversee the daily activities of a crew of 3-15 construction employees, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee Carpentry Operations: Coordinate and schedule carpentry operations in assigned areas, including bridge construction and installation of structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials.
- Inspect and Verify Work Progress: Regularly inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure that specifications are met and safety protocols are followed.
- Train and Supervise Workers: Train and supervise workers on company policies, safety practices, regulations, and procedures.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with crew members, project management, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that projects are completed properly.
- 5+ Years of Construction Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with a focus on carpentry and bridge construction.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and coordinating the activities of a crew.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with crew members, project management, subcontractors, and vendors.
