Carpentry Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Team Lead to join our team at Scroggs Construction Services. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing carpentry work on various projects, including remodeling, additions, and new home construction.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate carpentry activities on job sites
- Manage and maintain a team of carpenters, ensuring they have the necessary tools and materials to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Collaborate with project supervisors and other trade professionals to ensure seamless project execution
- Perform quality control checks on finished work to ensure it meets company standards
- Assist in the preparation of estimates, reports, and requisitions
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- At least five years of experience in a construction-related crew lead role, with a minimum of two years in finish carpentry work
- Knowledge of and ability to operate all carpenter tools and equipment
- Extensive set of carpentry tools, able to independently complete all construction-related tasks
- Ability to read blueprints and lay out construction, remodeling, and alteration work
- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of this job
- Ability to lift, load, and unload heavy construction materials frequently
- Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment
- Supervisory ability and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of construction software and technology
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive salary range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
