We are in search of a skilled **Functional Safety Manager** to spearhead the implementation of safety strategies for both industrial and public road automation software. This role will involve developing and refining processes while ensuring compliance with safety standards across various teams. The successful candidate will coordinate multiple disciplines to ensure the success of our products and the efficiency of our organization, all while upholding the highest standards of product quality and functional safety.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct impact assessments and create safety documentation to achieve compliance with ISO26262 functional safety standards.
  • Contribute to the definition of the safety case scope.
  • Draft safety manuals for SEooC development projects.
  • Collaborate with design teams to devise robust technical solutions that comply with ISO26262 at the system, hardware, and software architectural levels.
  • Offer guidance for the development of safety requirements at the IP level (both hardware and software).
  • Establish the system safety architecture and implement safety mechanisms.
  • Perform safety analyses, including safety FMEA, FMEDA, and FTA.
  • Provide input for system DFMEAs and assist in the development of IP DFMEAs as necessary.
  • Direct the DV team in planning for the verification and validation of the safety architecture, including the creation of test specifications in line with ISO 26262/IEC standards.
  • Compile safety case reports and safety analysis documentation.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable Quality and Functional Safety standards.
  • Proficiency with software, modeling, and simulation tools.
  • Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.
  • Experience with FuSa EDA tools is advantageous. Certification in ISO 26262 is preferred.
