**Functional Safety Manager**

We are looking for a seasoned **Functional Safety Manager** to spearhead the implementation of safety strategies for automation software in industrial and roadway applications. This role involves refining processes and ensuring teams adhere to safety standards. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-disciplinary efforts to ensure product excellence and organizational effectiveness while upholding safety and quality benchmarks.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct impact assessments and create safety documentation to ensure compliance with ISO26262 standards.
+ Contribute to the definition of safety case parameters.
+ Develop safety manuals for SEooC projects.
+ Collaborate with design teams to devise robust technical solutions that align with ISO26262 at the system, hardware, and software levels.
+ Offer guidance for the development of safety requirements at the IP level (both hardware and software).
+ Establish the system safety architecture and associated safety mechanisms.
+ Execute safety analyses including safety FMEA, FMEDA, and FTA.
+ Provide insights for system DFMEAs and assist in the creation of IP DFMEAs as necessary.
+ Direct the DV team in planning for the verification and validation of safety architecture, including test specification development in accordance with ISO 26262/IEC standards.
+ Prepare safety case reports and safety analysis documentation.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
+ Comprehensive understanding of Quality and Functional Safety standards.
+ Proficiency with software, modeling, and simulation tools.
+ Strong documentation and communication skills.
+ Familiarity with FuSa EDA tools is advantageous. Certification in ISO 26262 is preferred.
