Sumo Logic is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Director to lead our Central Expansion team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Directly manage a team of Account Executives (AEs) and work closely with assigned technical resources (SEs) and Inside Sales.
- Strategy and Planning: Capitalize on your management and coaching skills to bring strategy, planning, and experience to your team's sales efforts.
- Operations Management: Manage the region's day-to-day operations, including recruitment, retention, and performance management, employee development, and enablement.
- Financial Planning: Work with Finance on sales team P&L and Operations forecasting.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience building, training, and leading top-notch enterprise sales teams within the SaaS vertical.
- Industry Expertise: 10+ years of experience primarily in direct sales but also channel sales to enterprise accounts.
- Sales Skills: Deep experience selling a complex SaaS offering to IT Ops and/or DevOps leaders.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree, MBA is a plus.
