Role Summary
The Director of Student Recruitment will lead strategic initiatives aimed at attracting prospective students and their families. This role is pivotal in ensuring schools are fully enrolled, enabling students to envision and create their futures. The Director will collaborate closely with various teams, including Enrollment, Marketing, and School Operations, to achieve recruitment goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy that aligns with the school's mission and enrollment objectives.
  • Event Coordination: Organize recruitment events such as school fairs, open houses, and community outreach activities.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain partnerships with feeder schools and community organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Community Engagement: Increase community awareness through grassroots outreach initiatives.
  • Resource Management: Ensure the recruitment team has the necessary materials and resources for effective outreach.

Team Leadership:
Build and lead a high-performing recruitment team, fostering an inclusive culture that maximizes individual strengths. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing ongoing training and support to team members.
  • Monitoring team performance and offering constructive feedback.
  • Facilitating regular collaboration sessions to enhance team effectiveness.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize data analytics to assess recruitment effectiveness and prepare reports for stakeholders, focusing on:

  • Establishing key performance indicators for student acquisition.
  • Tracking recruitment trends and preparing insights for leadership.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • A track record of driving operational improvements.
  • Experience in enrollment management or admissions leadership, preferably in public charter schools.

Work Environment
This position typically operates in an office setting with some travel required. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends may be necessary.
