This clinical rotation is designed to equip Physician Associate students with the necessary skills for success in ambulatory care environments. Educational Experience:
Our preceptors are dedicated educators who are eager to share their expertise. All participating providers possess outstanding clinical abilities and are proficient in the operational competencies essential for managing their own clinics. The student clinical program at MinuteClinic offers a distinctive opportunity, as participants will not only refine their clinical skills but also gain practical knowledge in areas such as clinic operations, public relations, marketing, insurance processes, and the application of evidence-based guidelines.
Students will gain valuable insights into the workings of an ambulatory care setting and develop an understanding of how these clinics integrate into the broader healthcare delivery system. Additionally, participants will learn how our corporate office supports and enhances clinical practice.
MinuteClinics operate seven days a week, and due to the compressed schedules of our providers, clinical days may vary from week to week. The locations of clinics may also change based on the availability of your assigned preceptor.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for this rotation, candidates must be enrolled in a Physician Associate program that has a formal Affiliation Agreement with MinuteClinic. Clinical rotations are only available in states where we currently employ Physician Assistants. Verification of eligibility will be conducted with your program faculty prior to placement consideration.

Yes, a COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
COVID-19 Protocols:
CVS Health mandates that certain employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any required booster shots, unless they have an approved exemption based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons. Candidates must have received at least one COVID-19 vaccination prior to their first day of employment and must provide proof of vaccination status or request an exemption within the first ten days of employment. In some states and roles, proof of full vaccination or an approved exemption may be required before commencing work.
Preferred Qualifications:
It is important to note that MinuteClinic can only accommodate PA clinical rotation requests in specific states.
This position does not have a defined application deadline, as CVS Health accepts applications on a continuous basis.
