Sales Specialist for Industrial Components

As a Sales Specialist for Industrial Components, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support to both sales and field service teams regarding inquiries about parts.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to sell parts to our existing customer base.
- Act as the main point of contact for all inquiries related to part sales.
- Oversee aftermarket part sales in collaboration with various teams.
- Monitor and manage parts orders from the initial customer engagement to the final shipment.
- Address all inquiries related to custom-engineered system aftermarket parts sales.
- Gather relevant reference materials to create custom quotations.
- Coordinate with procurement to obtain current pricing and delivery information for all part orders.
- Document all customer interactions and activities in our sales management system.
- Contribute to the development of our sales database for effective parts pricing management.
- Collaborate with the Service Coordinator and Accounts Receivable to generate part sales quotes.
- Assist the Service Department by providing quotes for Service Level Agreements and Preventative Maintenance Agreements.
- Support the sales team and Operations Manager with customer correspondence and administrative tasks.
- Participate in weekly production meetings to provide updates on aftermarket sales activities.
This position is dynamic and responsive to the varying demands of parts sales on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, enabling effective documentation and coordination for customer quotations and support, thereby fostering Komar's commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or a High School Diploma accompanied by three years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- 1-2 years of sales experience within an industrial environment.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
- Customer-focused with a comfort level in engaging via phone and providing assistance.
- Commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential.
- Experience with Microsoft OneDrive for Business; familiarity with SharePoint is a plus.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and QuickBooks is beneficial.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Position Type: This is a full-time role, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.
Work Environment: The position is based in an office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements: The role entails minimal physical demands, primarily involving walking as necessary within the facilities.
