About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Planner to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. As a key member of our Environmental Planning and Permitting (EPP) group, you will be responsible for leading environmental planning projects, managing environmental compliance processes, and developing innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage environmental planning projects, including leadership of technical teams and development of project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules.
  • Provide expertise in environmental planning and permitting, including preparation of NEPA, SEPA, and CEQA documents.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to meet cost, schedule, safety, and quality objectives.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Lead proposal development and business development efforts to secure new projects and clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental planning, landscape architecture, environmental science, or a related field.
  • 6 years of relevant experience in environmental planning and permitting, with a focus on the Pacific Northwest.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience managing technical teams and developing project scopes and schedules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting complex environmental information to clients and stakeholders.
