Position Overview: Strategic Systems Inc is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves working during the overnight shift and offers a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
  • Utilize safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems to support business objectives.
  • Possess a valid forklift license and operate various machinery safely.
  • Implement lockout/tagout procedures effectively.
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in setting and pulling compression molds, including new tool trials.
  • Exhibit proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting.
  • Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance on diverse plant equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair both low and high voltage electrical circuits and machine controls.
  • Showcase programming skills to address machine logic and PLC issues.
  • Diagnose and repair complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of advanced mechanical troubleshooting, including precision equipment.
  • Understand and repair compressed air circuits and systems.
  • Design and build machine electrical panels as needed.
  • Rebuild pneumatic cylinders and vacuum pumps.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting of equipment and sensor systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain organized work areas.
  • Be available for on-call duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required, along with relevant maintenance experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing maintenance role, with strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial maintenance.
  • Experience with vacuum forming is preferred.
  • Self-motivated individuals who can work independently are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Capable of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Proficient in using tools for repairs and able to distinguish colors visually.
