Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Substance Abuse Program Director to lead our substance abuse treatment program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the program to ensure it meets the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive substance abuse treatment program that meets the needs of our clients
  • Supervise and train a team of treatment staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care
  • Conduct program evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the treatment program and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including facility management and contract managers
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as sociology, psychology, or counseling
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Seven years of experience in substance abuse counseling and program management, with at least two years in a supervisory role
  • Experience with program implementation and/or working in a correctional setting is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
