Position Title: Substance Abuse Specialist

Position Overview: Our community-based team in the Phoenix Metro area is dedicated to providing direct treatment, rehabilitative, and supportive services to individuals in need. As a Substance Abuse Specialist, you will collaborate with a clinical team to evaluate client needs, formulate personalized service plans, and deliver crisis intervention services. You will serve as the team's expert on substance abuse matters, implementing specific interventions as clinically warranted.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a Behavioral Health-related field is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health-related field is required or must meet BHT qualifications.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with the SMI population.
  • Experience in facilitating substance abuse support groups.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must possess a valid AZ driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or having a Substance Abuse certification is advantageous.
