We are seeking a Behavioral Health And Substance Abuse Therapist to join our team. You will be responsible for implementing effective treatment plans to clients in an individual or group setting.
Responsibilities:
- Counsel and advise individuals or groups with substance abuse problems
- Coordinate intake processes and assessments
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans
- Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties
- Submit and organize documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) environment
- Maintain continued education and keep up-to-date on the latest clinical interventions and guidelines to best serve clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields
- Compassionate and caring demeanor with the ability to build rapport among clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical proficiency with EHRs
- Licensed candidates are preferred in the following provider designations: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC)
