Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician I to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Medical Laboratory Technician I, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our mobile healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient care and support.
  • Perform patient assessments and monitoring, including vital signs, and provide accurate documentation.
  • Administer IV starts and blood draws, as permitted by state law, and apply splints as needed.
  • Provide wound care and work directly with point-of-care laboratory equipment, including operation, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Perform EKGs and assist Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Restock and manage supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Medical Technician with IV Certification Basic Certification with KS, EMT License (hiring credential only).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • BLS, American Heart Association.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
