Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our mobile healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient care and support
  • Perform patient assessments and monitoring, including vital signs and other clinical measurements
  • Administer IV starts and blood draws, as permitted by state law
  • Apply splints and provide wound care
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point-of-care laboratory equipment
  • Perform EKGs and assist with other laboratory tests
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • Medical Technician certification with IV certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
