Job Summary

The Investor Reporting Analyst II is a key member of the Newrez team, responsible for providing exceptional service to our investors and customers. This role requires a high level of expertise in financial reporting, data analysis, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly investor reports, including cash movements and accounting entries, in accordance with agreements.
  • Investigate and resolve investor issues and reporting exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Research and present solutions or process improvements to management.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and ensure overall investor satisfaction.
  • Maintain and follow procedures and controls within the monthly process.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Research variances and open items identified through the reconciliation process.
  • Possess an understanding of pooling and servicing agreements/GSE Servicing Guides.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of Mortgage Servicing experience required; prior Investor Reporting or Default/Loss Mitigation experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of SQL Development experience desired.
