We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at RTO National. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for performing daily accounting functions, researching discrepancies between core and accounting systems, and assisting with month-end close.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post journal entries for business transactions daily
  • Reconcile bank accounts daily
  • Review and import employee expense reports
  • Complete reconciliations and month-end closing entries
  • Process monthly special dealer incentive plans
  • Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary
  • Maintain a customer-focused atmosphere for accounting
  • Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
  • Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
  • Ability to prepare reports
  • Attention to detail and ability to work as a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications:

  • Required - Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Work Experience: At least 1 year of related experience
  • Certifications: None

Preferred - Work Experience: 2+ years of related experience
