About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Director to join our team at 10x Genomics. As a key member of our People & Culture department, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing innovative compensation programs that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with our business objectives
  • Design and manage compensation programs, including pay review and equity refresh
  • Collaborate with our VP, Total Rewards to develop and implement innovative rewards and recognition programs
  • Work closely with our Business Partner team to educate the organization on our compensation philosophy and programs
  • Grow and develop our Compensation team through coaching, guidance, and project management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 10+ years of progressive compensation experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing people
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively vision and execute models
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to communicate and explain compensation philosophy and program design
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing business needs
What We Offer:
  • Competitive base pay range: $212,000-$286,000 USD
  • Equity grants and comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs
  • Annual bonus program or sales incentive program
