Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee net APBITA across branches and sales and service operations to ensure achievement of revenue and profit plans.
  • Strategic Leadership: Monitor progress against district and region revenue objectives, and develop strategies to drive growth and improvement.
  • Business Development: Oversee development of General Managers through talent assessment and development, and monitor and actively coach all levels of district colleagues.
  • Recruiting and Talent Management: Manage recruiting efforts, interviewing, candidates hiring and onboarding to ensure appropriate staffing levels and a talented bench strength.
  • Client Relationship Management: Oversee relationship with all residential clients, and oversee end-to-end relationship with specific commercial clients.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolve clients disputes, complaints, and handle outstanding claims.
  • Program Delivery: Ensure company programs and initiatives are delivered with excellence across branches.
  • Compliance and Governance: Follow all established standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the business and hold colleagues accountable to the same standards.
  • Organizational Values: Lead and drive organization values through quality of service, relationships and teamwork.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Orchestrate joint team meetings to build camaraderie and share best practices.
  • Process Knowledge: Understand Rentokil and Terminix processes, including roadmap for safety/structure/service offerings.
  • Performance Evaluation: Leverage new evaluation criteria for colleague performance.
  • Financial Management: Oversee multi-branch P&L and sales /and service operations to ensure achievement of revenue & profit plans.
  • Tracking and Progress Monitoring: Establish tracking forums to assess progress against branch/region revenue objectives & influence sales / service activity and execution.
  • Colleague Development: Enable ongoing development of BMs via effective evaluations, coaching, goal-setting, and cross-region knowledge sharing.
  • Staff Development: Invest in branch-level staff development by modelling effective ride-a-longs, audits, skip-level conversations, annual reviews, improvement plans, etc.
  • Recruiting and Hiring: Oversee multi-branch recruiting, interviewing, hiring to ensure appropriate staffing levels and a talented bench.
  • Culture Development: Nurture a high performing culture through actions, accountability and feedback.
  • Change Management: Champion change through the Heart, Head and Hands methodology.
  • Business Model Stewardship: Serve as steward of Rentokil and Terminix business model to ensure company programs and initiatives are delivered with excellence at the branch level.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Business Management related subject.
  • Experience: 8+ years of field services management experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree, military ranking of O5, business operations experience, skill in managing and leading assigned projects - understanding of project management.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Maintains relevant licenses as required by federal, state or local regulations for termite/pest control and any other business unit products and services.
  • Travel Requirements: Position may require frequent overnight travel.
Compensation

Base Pay Range: $148,000- 196,000 / year. In addition to the base pay, a Colleague working in this role who has completed training may be eligible to earn additional monetary compensation. Total annual earning potential may vary based on performance and achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
