Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, along with relevant customer service experience.
Skills

Language and Mathematical Proficiency

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English, including simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Capable of presenting information effectively in both individual and small group settings.
  • Strong communication skills with guests, employees, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Proficient in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as the ability to interpret graphs.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands for this position include:

  • Regularly standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks.
  • Occasionally lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Preferred Experience: Previous hotel experience is advantageous, particularly with brands like Marriott or Best Western. Flexibility in availability is also beneficial.
