Job Summary:

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices daily, coding invoices in accordance with our established chart of accounts, and reviewing and processing employee expense reports in Concur.

Responsibilities:

Process a high volume of invoices daily
Code invoices in accordance with the established chart of accounts
Review and process employee expense reports in Concur
Assist with processing weekly batch check runs
Support the month-end process and team goals
Collaborate with various departments internally and externally
Manage invoices in PNC Workflow and identify discrepancies
Reconcile stale checks and credits
Identify process improvements and initiate projects to optimize current accounting processes
Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
Maintain 1099s and generate report at year-end
Manage AP Mailbox and respond to requests in order of importance
Maintain organized filing system of open and paid vendor invoices
Respond to vendors and field telephone/email requests within 24 hours
Contribute to audit readiness by maintaining accessible documentation and accurate records

Requirements:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Accounts Payable
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field
Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel and related functions
Experience with modern ERP systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management, prioritization, and management of multiple deliverables
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions of manager
Ability to meet tight deadlines on days critical to the finance department
Open to change and willing to learn new skills
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Strong collaborative and partnering skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
