Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Client Services Specialist to join our National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) team, a proud member of NBC Sports Next. Our mission is to enhance safety within organizations and communities by providing essential background screening and risk management tools, particularly for sports organizations serving youth and vulnerable populations. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, dependable, and share our commitment to safeguarding communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound customer inquiries, issues, and requests via email and phone, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Adjust processing instructions or system settings as needed based on client requests.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team monthly to ensure accurate billing and collection of fees related to background checks.
  • Address and escalate technical platform issues reported by clients or applicants.
  • Perform additional customer service tasks as assigned by the department lead or manager.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Tazworks, Intercom, Salesforce, Ring Central, and remote support tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide innovative solutions to problems.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and ownership in tasks.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Technical aptitude with a quick learning curve for new technologies.

Additional Requirements

Willingness to work overtime and weekends on short notice as needed.
