Job Summary

The Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our location. This includes ensuring high standards of guest experience, safety, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced food and beverage leader with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and coaching high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively coach and motivate team members to deliver exceptional results
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous innovation in location operations
  • Build strong partnerships with location stakeholders
  • Collaborate with regional and Home Office leadership to drive best practices and innovation
  • Deliver against financial goals and budgets
  • Coach and develop the operations management team
  • Represent Levy and our business objectives at partner meetings and networking events
  • Oversee safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Review financial reports and develop action plans to achieve business goals
  • Lead the development of the location's food story and guest experience
  • Complete team member performance reviews and career development planning
  • Manage administrative tasks, including expense reports and payroll
  • Interview and hire candidates for open roles
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to drive menu development and operational enhancements
  • Oversee season planning and ensure alignment with Levy and partner expectations
  • Coach team members for optimal performance and engagement
  • Conduct manager meetings to engage, inform, and build alignment
  • Conduct event walks to interact with team members, guests, partners, and VIPs
  • Identify and plan for management support needs
  • Manage the Levy Legends team recognition program
  • Conduct building safety walks to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Complete corrective action to hold team members accountable and improve future performance
  • Develop future talent within the location and mentor the next generation of leaders
  • Close payroll on a bi-weekly basis and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Drive shrinkage prevention efforts to minimize financial risk
  • Lead operational improvement planning and participate in governance meetings
  • Plan budget and P&L management to support optimal financial achievement
  • Engage in collaboration with the leadership team to support team members and promote a positive work environment
  • Act as the figurehead for Levy's Work of Change initiative and build a diverse and inclusive team
Requirements
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Understanding of financial concepts
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
