Position Overview:
The Software Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in guiding the development and upkeep of software solutions. This position demands a profound comprehension of software engineering methodologies alongside proficiency in diverse programming languages and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of software engineers in the creation, development, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Provide technical direction and support to team members, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish product specifications and prioritize development initiatives.
  • Manage project schedules and deliverables, ensuring that high-quality products are delivered on time.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical capabilities and support their career advancement.
  • Conduct code evaluations to maintain code quality and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement and advocate for DevOps best practices to enhance software development workflows.
  • Engage in the recruitment process for software engineering roles, including interviewing and onboarding new talent.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and innovations in software development.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP or Python, as well as experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, and SaaS product development is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and training team members.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Experience in web application development and management.
  • Prior experience in a managerial or leadership capacity is essential.
