Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Android engineers in creating consumer-focused features that enhance the Tinder experience for users globally.
- Define and manage platform goals and key performance indicators, crafting a strategic roadmap for your team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement the roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Facilitate technical, design, and product discussions across the organization to clarify and scope requirements.
- Set the technical vision for the team and guide them in achieving it.
- Mentor team members to support their professional growth and development.
- 7+ years of experience in developing native Android applications.
- 1+ year of experience in a leadership role within mobile engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with a solid understanding of concepts such as data classes, generics, and concurrency.
- Familiarity with architectural patterns like MVVM, VIPER, MVI, and RIBs.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams to build and launch large-scale mobile applications.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A talent for inspiring and motivating team members to achieve their best work.
