About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team at Soar Autism Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized developmental plans for children with autism, utilizing the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and other evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized therapy plans, setting ambitious goals that empower children to reach their full potential.
  • Provide direct care to children with autism, including teaching new skills, engaging in play-based routines, and promoting comprehensive growth and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering regular insights on their child's progress and providing guidance rooted in best child care practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in autism care and child development.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, child development, or special education.
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with families and colleagues.
  • A genuine interest in child development and a passion for providing high-quality care to children with autism.
