We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team at the Hopkins Center. This is a supervisory role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage the Front of House staff, including part-time student House Managers, Ushers, and Volunteers.
- Oversee the planning and execution of all public events, including front of house set-ups and troubleshooting during events.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patrons, including accessibility and ADA compliance.
- Manage the Hopkins Center database of record and prepare events reports.
- Reconcile merchandise sales and oversee the sale of merchandise.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years of administrative experience in an arts-related setting.
- Proven organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop professional working relationships with students and volunteers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work irregular schedules, including nights and weekends.
- Strong interest and knowledge of the performing arts.
- Experience with NSCAN and Tessitura.
- Comfortable with the Google Platform and other cloud-based collaboration spaces.
