Position Overview

The Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in supporting the HR department by managing various functions that contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Assist in the creation and execution of training and onboarding initiatives to enhance employee skills and integration.
  • Documentation Management: Review and revise HR-related documents to ensure compliance and consistency across all departments.
  • Policy Maintenance: Aid in the updating and upkeep of the Company Policy Handbook to reflect current practices.
  • I-9 Verification: Ensure proper verification of I-9 documentation and maintain organized records.
  • Employee Records: Input new hire information into payroll and timekeeping systems to establish accurate employee records.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process, including conducting phone screenings, posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and managing application materials.
  • Orientation Coordination: Organize and conduct orientation sessions for new employees, including logistics and paperwork management.
  • File Management: Help create and maintain personnel files using an electronic filing system.
  • Performance Reviews: Support the HR Director in the annual performance evaluation process.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain filing systems and manage correspondence and records efficiently.
  • Event Participation: Engage in administrative meetings and assist in the planning of company events.
  • Benefits Administration: Facilitate benefits enrollment for eligible employees and assist with the management of benefit-related activities.
