POSITION OVERVIEW:
Oversees a retail unit, concentrating on fostering a uniform and favorable customer journey. Aids in the management and guidance of all personnel and operational activities, ensuring the smooth execution of all production and retail functions, including pick-up and delivery, shipping, and quality assurance. Acts as the store leader in the absence of the Store Manager. The Assistant Store Supervisor is expected to carry out all tasks typically performed by team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exhibits consultative skills to guarantee friendly, courteous, and expert service is provided to all clients.
  • Assesses the effectiveness and productivity of team members in delivering positive customer interactions.
  • Addresses customer disputes and grievances promptly to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
  • Fosters a customer-centric atmosphere throughout the store (production, retail, self-service, and shipping) and ensures a tidy and professional setting.
  • Implements and oversees a process for customer flow within the store to enhance service delivery, ensuring customer needs are met swiftly and quality products are provided.
  • Facilitates training and development of team members during assigned shifts by tracking objectives and offering constructive feedback.
  • Conducts interviews for potential hires, adheres to all company recruitment policies, and assists the Store Manager in the hiring process.
  • Mentors, advises, and provides feedback to team members regarding their performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Maintains communication with the Store Lead Consultant and/or production team to ensure deadlines are achieved and quality assessments are conducted.
  • Supervises shipping-related services and operations.
  • Responsible for communication with the Store Manager and team members regarding daily/weekly/monthly objectives, performance metrics, customer concerns, and company initiatives.
  • Adheres to and enforces established company policies and procedures, maintaining a controlled environment.
  • Assists the Store Manager in reviewing and processing payroll and daily closure of POS.
  • Performs all other administrative tasks as required or requested, including but not limited to scheduling, payroll management, training compliance, daily POS closure, ordering, and inventory management.
  • Undertakes additional duties as necessary or requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • 1+ year of relevant experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift, excluding meal and rest breaks.
  • Ability to lift and move 55 pounds.
  • Ability to bend and twist at the waist and knees consistently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members consistently.
  • Ability to collaborate and follow instructions consistently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under significant pressure consistently.
  • Ability to maintain focus and concentration for extended periods consistently.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision consistently.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and adhere to established business hours to support operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY: This salary range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay range for this role across various locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the minimum and maximum for the job level. Actual starting pay will be determined by experience, market level, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Employees may be eligible for additional pay, bonuses, or incentives.
