We collaborate with numerous municipalities and jurisdictions, operate highly regulated facilities across multiple locations, and employ over 1,000 individuals.

Role Overview:

GreenWaste is in search of a skilled and dedicated Site Supervisor to provide operational support across various facilities. This role primarily focuses on assisting with the management of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure daily operations align with management directives.
  • Allocate daily tasks to team members.
  • Operate heavy machinery and oversee compliance with company policies among team members.
  • Conduct inspections on facility machinery, including heavy equipment and processing plants.
  • Perform safety and administrative tasks as required.
  • Reassign personnel and tasks as necessary.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues on plant machinery and guide the team in repairs.
  • Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning of the work area.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment and support talent development for career growth.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Encourage a culture of safety and teamwork among staff.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others.
  • Capability to comprehend and execute written and verbal instructions.
Certifications:
  • Must successfully complete annual Operator Evaluation and other safety training provided by GreenWaste.
Language Proficiency:
  • Fluency in English and/or Spanish.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Requires physical activities such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, and crawling.
  • Involves climbing stairs and/or ladders to access equipment.
  • Employee may be required to walk, sit, stand, climb, balance, reach, stoop, or kneel.
Work Environment:

The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Employees will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and must be adaptable to frequent changes in equipment, start/end times, service locations, and routes based on operational requirements.
