About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer II to join our Reporting and Insights team at Magnite. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining pipelines that process billions of records every hour, working on near real-time applications, and joining datasets from different sources to produce optimized access for multiple customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain pipelines that process billions of records every hour
  • Work on near real-time applications
  • Join datasets from different sources to produce optimized access for multiple customers
  • Develop applications that provide deep insight based on the data
  • Work with cross-team to maintain large clusters of query engines like Druid
  • Optimize query performance for API access
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ Years of experience working with data pipeline / data science
  • A love for data and challenges with scale
  • A passion to learn new skills and technologies
  • Experience in development of high quality pipelines using Scala
  • A good understanding of functional programming and object oriented programming techniques
  • A good understanding of SQL
