Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day remote technical support to our clients, identifying diagnostic issues, and developing solutions to moderate scope and complexity problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or remote access
  • Analyze and diagnose technical issues, identifying root causes and developing solutions
  • Work independently with some guidance, reviewing or guiding activities of junior employees as needed
  • Develop and contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
Requirements
  • Experience providing customer support to end users in person, via email, or over the phone
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to administer application, user, and systems accounts
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve end user IT issues, including software applications, web applications, and peripheral devices
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with virtualization technology
  • Experience working in SAPF/SCIF environments
  • Experience using Splunk, ACAS, DISA STIGs
  • Knowledge of networking devices and configuration

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 annualized USD.

Work Model

If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you'll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. If this position is listed as onsite, you'll work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for the specific role.
