Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Meat Sales Associate to join our team at Weis Markets, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Meat Department Management: Maintain a clean and organized meat department, including restocking shelves, rotating product, and ensuring accurate pricing and signage.
  • Product Preparation: Prepare and package meat products for customers, including grinding and cutting meats as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and report inventory levels, including tracking freshness and quality of products.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other sales team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and take on new challenges is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
