Director of Claims Operations and Strategy

About the Role
As a Director of Claims, you will be responsible for leading the claims team in delivering exceptional service and ensuring timely and accurate claims adjudication. You will contribute to the development of strategic goals and objectives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to improve claims processing efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of claims professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
- Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance claims processing, quality, and customer experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices.
- Customer Focus: Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring that claims are handled with empathy and professionalism. Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 10+ years of leadership experience in claims or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical tools.
