Job Summary

The Director of Claims Adjudication will oversee the effective and efficient delivery of claims adjudication and claims service for group short-term disability claims. This role contributes to the development of strategic goals and objectives, as well as the overall leadership of the claims team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve claims adjudication and service
  • Lead and manage a team of claims professionals to ensure timely and accurate claims adjudication
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Monitor performance metrics and results to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven leadership experience in claims management
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • ICA, HIA, LOMA, FLMI, or CEBS certification preferred
