Position Overview

The Building Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the installation, upkeep, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, plumbing, and structural components within the facilities managed by Noo-Kayet Development Corporation. This role encompasses a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the functionality and safety of the environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts routine maintenance and repair tasks, addressing service requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems as assigned.
  • Changes air filters and maintains grease recovery systems.
  • Ensures proper inventory management of tools and equipment in the maintenance shop.
  • Assists in the installation of electrical components based on technical drawings and verbal instructions.
  • Fosters positive relationships with team members and other departments to enhance collaboration.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical institution; three years of relevant experience in engineering or facilities management, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of electrical circuits, panels, carpentry, and tool usage.
  • Basic mechanical skills with experience in maintaining kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
