Position Overview: The Veterinary Service Technician is responsible for the repair and installation of various veterinary equipment. This role involves adhering to manufacturer specifications for the operation, maintenance, and installation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Independently address customer service requests, diagnosing issues and executing necessary repairs.
  • Compliance: Ensure all repairs and installations meet manufacturer, federal, and state regulations.
  • Training: Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment at their locations.
  • Documentation: Complete all required service documentation, including service orders and inventory reports.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing technical support and ensuring service commitments are fulfilled.
  • Inventory Management: Identify and manage the necessary parts and tools for service requests, ensuring all equipment is well-stocked and maintained.
  • Asset Management: Follow guidelines for vehicle maintenance and the proper use of company assets.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-5 years of experience in a veterinary, medical, or dental setting.
  • Proficient in Windows-based applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Certified, Licensed, or Registered Veterinary Technician.
  • Experience with X-Ray equipment.
  • Familiarity with SAP software.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical training in biomedical or electronics fields.

Working Conditions:

This role involves significant physical activity, including lifting up to 100 pounds, and may require travel to customer locations for service delivery.
