Job Description: As a Customer Experience Coordinator - Service Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless interactions between our customers and service technicians. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers promptly, gathering vehicle information, facilitating clear communication, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and repairs.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome customers promptly and gather necessary vehicle information.
  • Facilitate clear communication between customers and technicians to ensure understanding of services provided.
  • Keep customers updated with essential service information and timelines.
  • Verify warranty and service contracts accurately.
  • Prepare and process repair orders with detailed cost and symptom descriptions.
  • Advise customers on additional services and explain their benefits.
  • Oversee daily operations of the service department.
  • Manage and mentor a team of service technicians and advisors.
  • Schedule and delegate work assignments for efficient workflow.
  • Provide technical guidance and support on complex repairs.
  • Monitor and evaluate technician performance, offering constructive feedback.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality completion of repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and service history.
  • Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts and supplies.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Automotive/ Industrial Service Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
  • Proficient in sales techniques with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostic equipment is preferred.
  • Effective team leadership, task prioritization, and workflow management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Prior experience as a service advisor or service writer.
  • Above-average phone and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic mechanical understanding of automobiles.
  • Excellent sales history and customer service record.
  • Ability to work well with existing staff members.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Professional personal appearance.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year.
