About the Role

Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled Cardiac Rhythm Monitor Technician to join our team. As a Monitor Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors and ensure accurate interpretation of data.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to meet the needs of the department.
  • Transcribe physician orders and verify lab tests and radiology tests have been ordered and completed.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, including ordering supplies and completing necessary forms.
  • Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care duties, as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Six months previous experience in Healthcare or as Monitor Technician.
