Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough dietary evaluations of WIC participants, including infants, children, pregnant and postpartum women, and breastfeeding mothers.
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans, taking into account individual nutritional needs and risk factors.
  • Provide expert nutrition counseling and education to clients, promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of care and services.
  • Supervise and train Nutrition Assistant staff, ensuring they meet federal and state standards for quality assurance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, or Nutrition Education.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Availability to work evening hours and at least one Saturday per month.
  • Bicultural and bilingual skills a plus.
