Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our Food Service Nutrition Team at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. As a key member of our team, you will provide nutrition education and training support to the campus community, implement campus wellness programming, and coordinate with the dining management team to meet dietary needs for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides nutrition education and training support for the campus community, including tabling, lunch and learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, and other initiatives.
Implements campus wellness programming to promote healthy eating habits and lifestyles among students, faculty, and staff.
Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers, including those with special diets and food allergies.
Provides nutrition-related training, including food allergen training, to all associates to ensure a safe and healthy dining environment.
Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis to ensure that our menu offerings meet the nutritional needs of our customers.
Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication and messaging to promote our dining services and programs.
Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts, partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a credentialed Registered Dietitian with a strong background in nutrition education and training, as well as experience working with special diets and food allergies. A license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in the state of Massachusetts is required. Additionally, we are looking for an individual with excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
