Job Title: Credit and Contract Specialist

This role is responsible for negotiating contract and sales agreement terms, liaising between ClearSpan and customers or distributors, and collecting documentation related to customer credit applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate contract and sales agreement terms
  • Liaise between ClearSpan and customers or distributors
  • Collect and analyze customer credit applications
  • Establish payment terms
  • Provide customer service to sales department, customers, distributors, and third parties
  • Maintain accurate documentation of contracts and related information
  • Process documents and send counter-signed copies to customers
  • Create documents for products received per master contract or sales agreement
  • File for state contractor licenses and complete vendor qualification information
  • Complete and file all documentation required by customers for prompt payment
  • Reconcile invoices and monitor current accounts
  • Identify past due balances and follow the collection process
  • Provide problem resolution in support of order administration
  • Process documents for payment requests to accounting and credit departments
  • File paperwork, return phone calls, and troubleshoot problems
  • Update internal logs regularly
  • Complete UCC filings as assigned

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in South Windsor, Connecticut.

Work environment is a standard office environment in a fully renovated office.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.
