We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Home Lending Specialist to join our team at Government Printing Office Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for efficiently processing home equity loans from start to finish, providing exceptional member service, and maintaining effective working relationships with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively communicate with members throughout the loan process, ensuring timely closings and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Manage the pipeline of active, open loans, reviewing and updating status, and following up with parties as needed.
  • Prepare loan closing documents, coordinate closings, and book loans on our core system.
  • Maintain accurate records, update department procedures, and follow up with members on requests and inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with member service representatives, attorneys, title companies, real estate agents, and lenders.
Requirements
  • 6 months of similar or related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • MLO-certified.
  • Notary Public.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
